An Indian Ceremonial 'Coming Of Age' Birthday

This is my lecturer's daughter.
It's some Indian tradition birthday thing,
when the girls 'come of age'.. or something.

i don't know her name, but it's her birthday.
it was really interesting, experiencing the indian culture.
there was so much to do, just for this birthday.
I've never been at such an event before.
